Javier Castañeda is a Valencian illustrator and designer. Graduated in Artistic Photography at the Escola d’Art i Superior de Diseny de València (EASDV) and in Fine Arts at the San Carlos faculty of the Polytechnic University of València. He also completed the Master’s Degree in Design and Illustration, in its tenth edition, at this same university.

His work focuses on illustration, design and collage and he has participated in different audiovisual projects, such as the short film Ex-Libris by María Trénor, which was nominated for the Goya Awards in 2011.
